Managed IT services in Winter Park, Florida
For small firms around Park Avenue whose clients hand them private files, and who need to know exactly who can open those files.
Firms that trade on discretion
Park Avenue and the streets around Hannibal Square are best known for shops and restaurants, but among them are many small professional practices: attorneys, financial advisers, accountants, architects, interior designers, therapists and physicians. Rollins College anchors the south end of the avenue, and Winter Park Village on US 17-92 adds more retail and office space.
These firms are seldom large, yet what they keep is sensitive: estate documents, tax returns, clinical notes, client portfolios. Their exposure is usually less dramatic than a ransomware headline and more ordinary, like a former associate who can still open the shared drive from home.
Access is most of the job
- Know every account. The audit lists each login with admin rights and each person able to reach client files.
- Require a second factor. Multi-factor sign-in on the accounts we manage, with the rule written into the agreement.
- Close access on the day. Tell us someone has left and we aim to take their access off that same day.
- Keep laptops encrypted and patched. Device management shows the state of every enrolled machine, so if a bag goes missing you can say with confidence whether the laptop inside was encrypted.
- Name the people. You learn who at SentinelGrid can reach your systems before they can, and the vetting process is on the team page.
Across the county line
Winter Park is in Orange County, a short way from our headquarters in downtown Orlando. Almost everything above is remote work and runs identically wherever the office happens to be. For the occasional job that does need someone at the hardware, such as a dead switch or an office move, we come on site; the service area page explains how that is handled.
Deadlines and our hours
Tax season and filing dates ignore office hours, so it is worth being clear about ours. Tickets are taken 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and we work them at weekends too. A P1 outage gets a best-effort response inside two hours at any hour. On-site visits run Monday to Friday, 3pm to 8pm Eastern, and at weekends by arrangement, so if your firm needs someone in the office before a deadline, book the visit ahead.
Money and maturity
Pricing is public: per-user plans at $45 (Support), $79 (Manage) and $129 (Operate), or Watch at a flat $149 for up to ten devices. Founding clients hold that rate for two years with no lock-in. We are an open beta with three founding places. The helpdesk, monitoring, remote support with device management, and the client portal are live. Backups, single sign-on within your systems and portal reporting are not, and until backups exist your firm keeps responsibility for them. The roadmap shows where each stands.
What Winter Park firms ask
Who at SentinelGrid could see our client files?
Only people named to you in advance. You are given a person's name before they receive access, and you can refuse. The vetting steps are published on the team page.
Does Winter Park get on-site help?
Yes, for work that needs someone physically present. We go on site wherever our clients are. Remote support covers everything else.
Can you set up single sign-on for our document system?
Not yet. Single sign-on within client environments is on the roadmap but not built, so we don't sell it.
